Missy Higgins: "Everyone's Waiting"

I found Missy Higgins in one of my angst-ridden, emotional high school moments. She somehow appeals to every feeling I have in each and every song. Her words can be poignant, nostalgic, snarky, beautiful, heartbreaking, and more. My love of everything Missy was recently revived when I saw her play at a small venue in my hometown. There's nothing I love more than live music, especially when the artist is unexpectedly candid. She was noticeably thrilled to be on stage, and she was absolutely hilarious. Even better, Missy sounded even better than any recording I have ever heard of her, AND she song 17 songs on her own. Thank goodness she didn't give up music for good two years ago. We would never have "Everyone's Waiting."
